Pamphlets

Photo 05.09.2023, 20 47 52.jpg

Pamphlets are a post-punk band based in Brooklyn, NY. Singer/guitarist Jeremy Marquez and bassist Ben Griffin formed the project after connecting through a network of friends. The pair bonded over a shared admiration for contemporaries such as Preoccupations, Ought, and Protomartyr, classic groups like The Fall and Joy Division, and popular local acts Gustaf, BODEGA, and B Boys.

In their first two years as a group, they have honed a driving, high-energy punk sound and become notable for their infectious live performances throughout New York City. With songs that attempt to speak about the chaos, uncertainty, and anxiety of our current moment, Pamphlets position themselves as an unabashedly political call to action.
